As an application and software developer/engineer you will join our internal R&D team developing the ultrasound system frontend with focus on image quality. Typical tasks will be improvement of imaging methods, software beamforming, ultrasound processing and use of machine learning (AI) in this context.</p><p></p><p>In this job you will work together with our global team of experts and be part of a stimulating global work environment within the healthcare industry with excellent opportunities for personal and career development. Your contributions will improve the health and lives of others!</p><p></p><h1>Field of work</h1><p><br />•    Develop applications and software for ultrasound systems with a focus on the system frontend: transmission, reception, and processing of ultrasound data. <br />•    Contribute to the design, implementation, and verification of ultrasound system software, hardware, and probes. <br />•    Engagement in all phases of new product development from concept, architecture, design, implementation, testing, documentation, release, and service support.</p><p></p><h1>Qualifications</h1><p><br />•    Master or PhD degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Physics, Electrical Engineering, Signal Processing, or related fields.<br />•    Object-oriented design and C++ programming. Good understanding of real-time performance for computational heavy applications and data throughput.<br />•    Good team and communication skills.
