We’re looking for a Principal, Product Manager to lead the creation of hyper-growth innovation scenarios with a focus on security, to advance missions across the U.S. Federal Government spanning civilian, defense, and intelligence agencies.
Experience working with the U.S. Federal Government sector
7+ years of relevant experience in roles spanning product management, product development, product marketing, and/or solution architecture
U.S. Federal security clearance
Entrepreneurial spirit fueled by a deep understanding of emerging technologies
Strong strategic, and creating thinking skills
Comfortable dealing with ambiguity and complexity
Intellectually curious and able to see things from different points of view
Ability to absorb complex technical and scientific information and creatively distill into key takeaways, crisp analyses, presentations, and narratives
Highly collaborative and able to build trusting relationships across multiple stakeholders
Strong interpersonal skills, with prior experience working across multiple teams and functions, with the ability to effectively support management of stakeholders internally and externally
Work on multiple assignments at once while meeting timelines
Ability to work independently but know when to ask for guidance

Identify and envision hyper-growth growth technology solutions in close partnership with Missions Engineering, Microsoft Research and the Microsoft Federal teams spanning current and new technologies in development.
Collaborate with the Business Planning team to create and sell into executive leadership the end-to-end business plan for each scenario including market analysis, long-range financial aspirations, business model hypothesis, partner & customer ecosystem strategy, and thought leadership strategy.
Develop durable value propositions that inform product strategy, deepen customer engagement, and differentiate Microsoft within the U.S. Federal ecosystem among leading competitors.
Lead the orchestration and alignment of hyper-growth scenario plans and execution across disciplines including engineering, finance, business planning and operations, customer engagement and marketing.
Act as subject matter expert to bring to life the vision for new hyper-growth scenarios across multi-functional teams from executive briefing, thought leadership presentation creation, demo & script development and to go-to-market execution.
Partner with Microsoft Federal Customer Engagement and Sales teams to land hyper-growth scenario beach heads, assess success through growth including share, usage, and revenue.
