The Startup Segment Sales Operations & Strategy team is building the future of sales. Our team is responsible for supporting the rapidly growing Startup Sales business, from Sales Leaders to Solutions Architects and everything in between. We are obsessed with delivering results for customers and supporting sales organizations to shape the direction of the business. We are a diverse, innovative team which loves translating data, insights, and anecdotes into action (and success!).

We are seeking a Field Sales Ops Lead to join our EMEA team. The Field Sales Ops Lead is responsible for the French region, defining and executing a sales strategy that streamlines productivity and drives incremental year on year revenue and non-revenue goal growth. This individual will be a member of the French Startup Sales Leadership team. They 1/ align and interlock the core sales team with partner teams within the region, 2/ serve as a subject matter expert on internal systems, processes, and policies, 3/ build and lead region-specific mechanisms to manage and report on the business to leadership, and 4/ lead strategy and sales planning efforts to enable the business to grow.

This is a hands-on position - the ideal candidate must be willing to “roll up their sleeves” as well as plan and execute on long-term strategic horizons. They will have broad leadership skills, be able to think strategically about business challenges, and have experience in program management and an analytic background.

Key job responsibilities
• Own annual sales planning for the assigned region patch. Includes defining the account set, segmenting customers and providing input to the headcount coverage model, forming accounts into territories, assigning reps to territories and setting goal targets.
• Own sales operations activities within the region patch. Includes forecasting, pipeline management, conducting deal reviews, and revenue mapping and reconciliation.
• Create and drive the business cadence, interlocking to our EMEA and WW cadences and developing a sufficient level of business knowledge to independently conduct business reviews with leadership.
• Optimize the productivity of sellers within your regions, measuring and baselining sales output and deploying mechanisms to improve productivity over time.
• Prepare ad hoc analysis & participate on projects as needed.


A day in the life
You are a key member of the regions leadership team, so you spend a lot of time in 1:1s with your Region's Sales Leader and Sales Managers. You shadow customer calls and learn about what our customers are asking for. You foster a community of knowledge sharing with other Field Sales Ops leads on our team, so we benefit from your unique perspective and ways of solving problems. You love inventing and frequently create new mechanisms and processes which help us deliver more as a team. You go above & beyond by acting as a stand-in for your Sales Leadership in key internal reviews with AWS leadership, and deploying your best practices in other EMEA regions or even worldwide.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

• 4+ years experience in a role in Finance, Sales Operations, or Analytics
• Project management experience
• Ability to conduct sophisticated and creative analysis of complex data and translate the results into actionable deliverables, messages, and presentations
• Strong proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite required (extensive knowledge of Excel required)
• Excellent cross group collaboration skills.
• English language fluency
• French language proficiency
• Bachelor’s degree is required

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

• Demonstrated ability to define, refine and implement sales processes, procedures and policies
• Experience at a Startup
• SQL skills or the desire to learn advanced query and data manipulation skills
