You will join a dedicated, nimble team that is helping Atlassian achieve its mission of unleashing the potential in every team. We have nearly 9M users all around the world—and teams (massive and small) depend on our software to do their work. You'll conduct research that not only informs our ultimate mission, but that also feeds the design, strategy and development for our Buyer Experience teams.

In This Role, You'll Get To:Help identify and understand the questions we need to answer to move product strategy and execution forward. Your insights and discoveries will help inform company strategy, product experiences, and long-term roadmaps.Conduct end-to-end research, using a blend of methodologies, to help us gain confidence in our understanding of our users needs. You'll be empowered to work with autonomy and creativity every step of the way.Contribute to the development of a strong and innovative research practice across Atlassian. Coach and mentor other members of the growing Atlassian Research team, and evangelize research across Atlassian to create a more customer empathetic culture. Work to ensure team engagement in user research studies, and foster a shared understanding of research output to drive research informed decision making.On Day One, We'd Expect You To Have:5+ years of hands-on experience designing and conducting user research and be able to show how your work has had an impact. We expect to hear stories of how your research influenced product roadmaps and informed design decisions.Demonstrable creative thinking skills, and an ability to thrive in a team environment. You are comfortable with ambiguity, enjoy crafting your own research questions, and are capable of identifying the right methodology for the study at hand.Experience with a variety of qualitative and quantitative research techniques, along with the knowledge of when and why to apply them. Strong communication skills, and proven experience influencing and inspiring change using data and storytelling. You have created effective ways of sharing your insights to ensure they resonate.
