You will be primarily responsible for supporting Atlassian's health, wellbeing, perks and superannuation benefits programs in Australia and other countries as needed. You will work closely with our brokers, vendors and internal teams to administer and run our benefits programs. You’ll analyse market trends to ensure our benefit plans deliver value and quality of care. By partnering with our broader Benefits, HRIS, People, Legal, and Finance teams, you will help scale our local and global programs and administration. You’ll engage with employees to support our global programs and ensure employees understand the value of their benefits. You’ll support and stay abreast of all local regulatory compliance requirements.
What you'll be doing: Manage all aspects of benefits administration, claims, annual renewal process, and vendor managementDrive employee engagement and participation through education, communication and onsite eventsEnsure that the benefits administration is delivered consistently, efficiently, and in line with contract and legal requirementsWork with People Operations and HRIS to ensure the benefits administrative processes are properly documentedAssist with developing and maintaining absence policies and HRIS system configurationsProvide cross-functional team support for leave of absences, employee health & safety, and return to work programsManage employee escalations, exceptions and appeals Research current benefit trends and regulatory/legislated requirements and recommend programs/changesCompile and analyze benefit data for strategic planning and evaluationWork with the global benefits team on projects supporting the global benefits strategy
On day one, we'll expect you to have: 4+ years of experience in HR and benefits, preferably in high growth or corporate environmentsBachelor's’ degree in HR, Business, Finance or a related disciplineProven knowledge of benefits practices, operations and complianceValidated analytical skills and attention detailDemonstrable ability to execute and improve processesGood judgment and discretion when dealing with sensitive informationAbility to communicate across diverse groups with a clear and approachable styleAppreciation for the fact that we work in a global environment which is rapidly changing and growingIt's a bonus but not required if you have: Experience with global benefitsExperience with configuring time off or benefits in Workday or similar HRIS
