Required qualifications:

  • 10+ years' of writing production C/C++/C# code, for various desktop, cloud or embedded platforms.
  • Strong UX design skillls and development on the Windows platform.
  • Experience using Source control, including Git.
  • End to end project development experience including the research and incubation phases of a commercial project.
  • Strong design skills and tooling knowledge

Desired Qualifications:

  • Passion for devices and IoT.
  • Have familiarity with mobile app development in iOS or Android

  • Where is the team/job located?

This is a permanently remote team, spread across Canada and the US. Everyone works from home, and you will too. You must be located anywhere in Canada. For exceptional international candidates, we will pay for relocation.

  • What tools and technologies do you use?

We mostly develop in C# and C++ on the Windows Platform using Visual Studio and Visual Studio Code. However, we also do some Android and iOS development as well.

  • How much travel is involved?

Not much. You may be occasionally asked to travel to our headquarters in Redmond, WA for get-togethers.

You will build prototypes that investigate and demonstrate the feasibility of these new concepts.

  • Mentor junior developers and drive the technology decisions for subsystems and larger software components.
  • Be comfortable with a fast-paced environment and a high level of ambiguity.
