About the role

 

The Funnel Operations role is a unique opportunity to have a direct impact on Southwest European countries, Spain, Portugal, Italy & Croatia, by supporting supply growth efforts across the region, the goal being to have more Uber drivers in the region.  The ideal candidate has an extensive understanding of what happens at each stage of the funnel, the ability to develop solutions that work for every city, large and small, and strong planning and communication skills to keep large scale projects on track.

We are looking for an Operations Manager to lead the numerous exciting and transformational initiatives will be rolling out in Southwest Europe. This role calls for a combination of project management skills, data-driven analysis and decision making and interpersonal skills.  

What you'll do

 

  • Optimize supply growth operations, from developing on boarding projections to monitoring top of funnel metrics to working on improving funnel conversion
  • Setup and scale priority TOF partnerships
  • Identify new sources of supply and work with Business Development and city teams to execute on the same
  • Work with city teams and product team to scale up existing referral initiatives and identify their best supply growth practices and share them with other teams in the region
  • Coordinate with other regions’ supply leads to ensure that best practices from around the country are being adopted in every city

 

What you'll need

  • 2 years plus of Operations Management, digital consulting or investment banking background with  previous experience using data to drive business decisions
  • Start-up experience will also be a big plus
  • Fluency in English – Fluency in Spanish, Portuguese, Italian or Croatian an advantage.
  • Demonstrated leadership of leading initiatives and projects at your organization.
  • Ability to create, implement and improve scalable operational processes.
  • Highly developed internal stakeholder management skills, having the proven ability to develop strong working business relationships with internal departments such as Marketing, Central Op,s and legal to ensure they complete the tasks required for this role so that your KPI’s are exceeded.
  • Experience with sales or Marketing will be an advantage.
  • Consistent track record of being a respected operational problem solver.
  • Data driven decision making mentality and sound business judgment through strong analytical thinking and experimentation.
  • Speed, resourcefulness, and self-starter attitude - Uber is committed to constant improvement. You’re excited to help create a product with value.
  • Excellent excel skills, SQL skills preferred.
