<h1><span class="emphasis-3"><b><b><b>Job Description Summary</b></b></b></span></h1>Manage Material planning and Inventory Control on a Global Level focusing on defining, developing and implementing solutions, liaising with stakeholders, to ensure customer satisfaction.<br>• Act as Business Process Expert for Material Planning and Inventory Control (Processes, Master Data, Systems, Training & Support).<br>• Maintain metrics and analyze data to assess performance and implement improvements on the area of scope.<br>• Train and design processes, training materials or presentations if needed.<br><br>In this role you will report to Director, Global Inbound Logistics and be part of the Global Supply Chain organization in LM Wind Power.<p></p><p></p><h1><span class="emphasis-3"><b>Job Description</b></span></h1><p><span>The role as Manager, Material Planning and Inventory Control ranges over a span of disciplines in a truly global environment. The main responsibilities cover;</span></p><p><u>Material Forecast</u></p><p>•            Direct Material Global Forecasting: ensure that Global Sourcing and local buyers can provide to suppliers sufficient and accurate material demand information, on a monthly basis, based on S&OP figures</p><p>•            Follow up on forecast accuracy identifying the need for and defining improvement actions</p><p>•            Collaborate with Commodity Managers on developing Commodity Strategy related to Supply Chain topics</p><p><span>The role as Manager, Material Planning and Inventory Control ranges over a span of disciplines in a truly global environment. The main responsibilities cover;</span></p><p><u>Material Planning</u></p><p>•            Set up and implement standards and operating procedures on MRP and follow up plant performance.</p><p>•            Follow up BOM and planning accuracy , identifying the need for and defining improvement actions</p><p>•            Follow up MRP utilization and accuracy, identifying the need for and defining improvement actions</p><p>•            Follow up MT status with commodity teams</p><p>•            Support on mitigation actions defined to reduce identified supply risk (like rebalancing: distribution of available capacity to ensure maximum coverage at LM plants minimizing the risk of production stoppages due to material shortage)</p><p>•            Report Supply Chain identified risks to S&OP team</p><p><u>Inventory Management</u></p><p>•            Ensure accurate business information about Inventory levels</p><p>•            Follow up and define actions to eliminate idle inventory.</p><p>•            Set up and implement standards and operating procedures</p><p><u>Tools To Reach Efficiency</u></p><p>•            Maintain metrics and analyze data to assess performance and implement improvements</p><p>•            Define & deploy standard tools & processes for perimeter in charge</p><p>•            Dynamic training and refreshment of the local teams</p><p></p><p></p><p></p><h1><span class="emphasis-3"><b><b><b>Additional Information</b></b></b></span></h1><div><div><div><div><div><div><div><p><b>Relocation Assistance Provided: </b>No</p><p></p><p></p><p></p><p></p><p></p><p></p><p></p><p></p></div></div></div></div></div></div></div>
