About the Role


As part of our global Employer Brand and Marketing team, this role will be dedicated to driving our team’s ‘Big Bold Bets’. How can we showcase Uber as a place to work in truly new ways? How can we add real wow factor throughout our candidate experience? How can we bring Uber’s own technology to life throughout the candidate experience? Ultimately, you’ll be driving and executing some of our biggest game-changers for our employer brand and creating the most memorable experiences for candidates.


As with each role in our global Employer Brand and Marketing team, you’ll be responsible for delivering marketing initiatives for all our business teams including Rides, UberEats and Uber Emerging Technologies which includes Uber Freight, Uber Air plus JUMP bikes and scooters.

What you’ll need:


  • Experience delivering first-to-market initiatives and testing new technologies; You’ll have extensive experience with experimenting and executing new ideas and initiatives
  • Resilience. As you’d expect, there is plenty of appetite at Uber to try new things. But you’ll still need resilience to get projects off the ground and commitment to see them through
  • Ability to demonstrate clear, creative and strategic thinking
  • The initiative to be proactive in everything you do; you’ll be self-driven and able to lead large-scale projects and programs with minimal supervision
  • Ability to demonstrate how you’ve worked with complex data sets to drive your decisions
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills to influence senior leadership, manage large numbers of stakeholders, and ability to develop and execute comprehensive communication plans
  • Insight and experience into recruiting would be an advantage
  • Strong project management skills are required



What you’ll do


  • Constantly seek, develop and execute new ways we can bring the ‘working at Uber’ story to life
  • Proactively develop new ideas - big and small - to help us create memorable moments that surprise and delight throughout the candidate experience
  • Build relationships with Marketing to gain visibility of upcoming campaigns and sponsorships that we can leverage for employer brand purposes
  • Work closely with the Recruiting team and your key stakeholders to develop, test and validate your ideas, then partner with the Recruiting Technology team as required to execute your new initiatives
  • Drive a mindset of innovation across Recruiting and our Brand Champions network of recruiters and sourcing specialists
  • As part of a global team, you’ll be responsible for shaping our global employer brand strategy
